Local Favorite: Amaya Beach Bar

A gathering place for locals and visitors alike, Amaya Beach Bar in El Pescadero has the right vibes for the right kind of night.

Perched right in front of the San Pedrito surf break, it's where you go to watch (or catch) waves, soak in the sunset, and grab cold drinks with new friends and familiar faces.

The atmosphere? Laid-back, authentic, and refreshingly unpretentious. Whether you're celebrating a good surf session or just soaking in the coastal energy, Amaya delivers.

Bonus: It's less than a 10-minute drive on back roads from Cielo PacΓfico, making it the perfect evening escape!

Laid back with bar and table seating, delicious drinks, a small selection of tasty bites, fire pit, swings, and other interactive hangout areas. And (maybe the best part), they often host live music late into the evening – DJs, acoustic, local rock bands, salsa, jam bands…they cover a lot of genres. They’ve hosted names such as YokoO, Fede Archdale (who also owns Casa Hygge!), DJ Logic, The New Mastersounds, John Medeski, ALO, and also the Bajaja Music Festival in 2023. Heck, you can even get married there!

Before you go, you’ll want to make sure they’re open (seems like they’ve been closed more often lately – check on their social media), but if they are, head over for a late afternoon drink and a front row seat for sunset!

Love,
Rachel, Co-Owner of Cielo PacΓfico
